Chiefs face a major setback as star runnin back Isiah Pacheco sustains a fractured fibula during their victory over the Bengals.
- Kansas City Chiefs star running back Isiah Pacheco has a fractured fibula and is using a walking boot and crutches after getting injured in Sunday’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead Stadium. Pacheco is expected to miss between 6 and 8 weeks with the injury. Now the Chiefs are expected to meet with former Kansas City running back Kareem Hunt, ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting. Hunt was previously released by the Chiefs on November 30, 2018 when video surfaced of him assaulting a woman at a Cleveland hotel.
The injury seemingly happened with only two minutes remaining in the game when Pacheco was bent backward during a tackle by a Bengals player while another defender grasped his leg. The drive concluded with Harrison Butker making a game-winning, 51-yard field goal as time ran out.
