NFL Network has selected T.J. Watt of the Steelers the Defensive Player of the Year.
The NFL Network staff has formally revealed their selections for the annual NFL end-of-season awards, which include 2023–24 Defensive Player of the Year, with NFL Honors just around the corner.
NFL Network’s Defensive Player of the Year went to Pittsburgh Steelers standout edge rusher T.J. Watt, who received 11 votes, defeating Myles Garrett of the AFC North by a margin of two votes. Watt has outperformed Garrett in about every category this season, but the question of who should take home the trophy has been fiercely debated.

Additionally, Watt was named to the first team of the All-Pro team. Additionally, Watt and Garrett were announced as members of the Sporting News NFL All-Pro team on Thursday.
Dallas Cowboys cornerback DaRon Bland (2 votes), Las Vegas Raiders DE Maxx Crosby (2 votes), and Micah Parsons (8 votes) are among the other players who received votes.
