The argument between Daniels and Maye was interestingly illuminated by an NBC Boston report.

Daniels’ quiet but unwavering demeanor won over both coaches and players during his second season in Baton Rouge. He amassed an astounding 90 plays of 20 yards or more for the Tigers last season.

Daniels is regarded as the kind of quarterback who may ignite a more rapid rebuild for a team in transition. This week, several evaluators told NBC Sports Boston that when Lamar Jackson was selected out of Louisville in the 2018 NFL Draft, Daniels was a more skilled passer.
