Buffalo Bills may consider three past pre-draft visitors in NFL free agency in 2024.

On Monday, March 11 at 12 p.m. EST, the NFL’s window for legal tampering in free agency will open. When free agency officially opens on Wednesday, March 13 at 4 p.m. EST, we will know where a few players will sign in a matter of hours.

Though it is unlikely that the Buffalo Bills would make significant free agent acquisitions, they still have the opportunity to target a few players who are in need. Buffalo may choose to select players after doing extensive research on them during the draft, even though the Bills may try to keep some of their current players. Following his appointment as general manager of the Bills, Brandon Beane has held virtual or top-30 meetings with a variety of candidates. Several of those players are about to become free agents. Which prior visitors to the pre-draft could Beane pursue in free agency? These three are possible targets.

In 2024, DJ Chark might be playing for his fourth team in four years. Following his first draft selection by the Jaguars in 2018–2021, Chark spent the next two seasons playing for the Detroit Lions (2022) and Carolina Panthers (2023). Despite playing in a poor offense, the 27-year-old managed a solid 35-525-5 stat line. 2019 saw Chark have his greatest season (73-1,008-8), but teams who pass on top receiver targets may consider Chark.

Buffalo might be interested in Chark given his height (6 feet 3 inches) and quickness (4.34 seconds for the 40-yard dash).
