Nuggets Journal: Denver native and Celtics point player Derrick White is still unable to reserve a table at Casa Bonita
Denver’s most renowned restaurant is so popular that not even the most successful Coloradan in the NBA today can secure a seat there.
Don’t worry, Derrick White made an effort.
The Celtics guard added on Thursday morning, “This summer, I attempted to visit Casa Bonita, but I was unable to gain in.” It’s huge, then. I’d want to see Casa Bonita. I love Casa Bonita.
He will now have to wait until summer, or maybe late spring if, as most basketball analysts have projected, he plays his hometown team in the 2024 NBA Finals.

Every time White visits Denver, it’s a momentous occasion. The former star of the CU Buffs visits his folks. He runs into former Legend High School classmates in Parker. People tell him they’re cheering for the Nuggets to win, but they also want him to have a great game. “They’re not my close buddies,” White explained.
However, this one was unique for both White and the Nuggets.
