Jimmy Butler was in the corner of the floor watching Terry Rozier take his defender off the dribble and step back into a three-point shot with fifteen seconds remaining.

The Cleveland Cavaliers rallied to force another crucial game even though the Miami Heat had led by as much as eleven points at one point. To win their four games on the road, the Heat needed to triumph.

Butler did nothing but watch as Rozier’s shot went through the net because that was all he needed to do. Butler’s team didn’t need him to make the game-winning shot, even on a night when Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo were not playing for the Miami Heat and Butler scored thirty points.

That’s the allure of having a player such as Rozier, and the Heat had this in mind when they acquired him in January.
