Anthony Martial and Casemiro may have reached their peak at Manchester United, according to an ESPN article. The £106 million pair is anticipated to leave Old Trafford during the summer transfer window.
In Erik ten Hag’s debut season at the team, the Brazilian midfielder was one of United’s most vital players. His absence in the second half, however attributed to an injury, created a significant void in their lineup.
As a result, Kobbie Mainoo rose to prominence, and it appears that the 18-year-old could eventually take the position of the legendary Brazilian at Old Trafford. Additionally, Casemiro has a substantial wage bill, which is absurd given that Mainoo has just entered the picture.
