BREAKING NEWS:Manchester utined to sing Gary O`Neil for coaching role -sources……….

According to sources who spoke with ESPN, Manchester United wants to discuss a possible new coaching setup at Old Trafford with Gary O’Neil, the head coach of the Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After completing their acquisition of a 27 percent stake in the team in February, Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS group assumed control of United’s football operations. According to sources, the new administration, headed by INEOS director of sport Sir Dave Brailsford, is working to establish a new coaching structure with a head coach.

Although Erik ten Hag’s managerial future is still up in the air, sources close to ESPN have revealed that United has already evaluated England manager Gareth Southgate, Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi, and Thomas Frank of Brentford as possible successors.

when keeping Bournemouth in the Premier League in his debut season in the top level, O’Neil, who was named manager at Molineux in August when Julen Lopetegui left, has led Wolves into the running for European qualification this season.

Additionally, sources told ESPN that the 40-year-old has been informed of United’s interest and that senior members of the team have expressed a wish to speak with him about his plans.

ESPN has received confirmation from sources that United is interested in O’Neil; however, it is unclear what kind of role they could be willing to offer. According to insiders, United is considering strengthening every member of their coaching staff in addition to evaluating their management choices.

Upon taking over Wolves last summer, O’Neil signed a three-year deal, which means United may have to pay compensation if they decide to extend an offer to him for a position at the team.

Former midfielder for Middlesbrough, Portsmouth, and West Han United, he was hired by Michael Edwards as the club’s sporting director, and he began his coaching career with Liverpool U-18s.

Earlier in the 2000s, when Portsmouth was in the Premier League, Edwards and O’Neil had collaborated.

Man United did not reply to ESPN before the article was published.
