Regarding Finnegan’s failed save, Martinez said, “You can’t really fault him.” We had a chance to end the game early, but we failed to do so. However, we had another opportunity to bring in our closer, and we were only one pitch away from shutting it out tonight. However, he’s been excellent. He has, in fact. He played a major role in the games we won, but today wasn’t his day.
