The Bengals strongly go on putting a  familiar face in TE .

The Cincinnati Bengals’ tight end room was dubious heading into the 2023 campaign.

Irv Smith Jr. was a letdown during the season, while Travis Hudson and Drew Sample performed admirably.

There are well-known players in the tight end position on the final four clubs in the AFC playoff picture.

Mark Andrews is with the Ravens; Dalton Schultz is with the Texans; Travis Kelce is with the Chiefs; and Dawson Knox/Dalton Kincaid is with the Bills.

The Bengals need to add a skilled tight end during the summer, and Schultz would be a great fit, according to PFF’s Gordon McGuinness.

“This summer, the Bengals may lose both Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd, who together saw 165 targets in 2023. The Bengals could win in the center of the field if they add a strong receiving tight end, but young receivers Andrei Iosivas and Charlie Jones could step up in their stead. Schultz had a 72.2 PFF receiving grade through the wild-card round this season, demonstrating his reliability as a target for the Texans.

Schultz would be a fantastic addition to the Bengals’ tight end group and might be a crucial player in Burrow and company’s quest for a successful resurgence.
