Strength of schedule for Browns in 2024: A difficult road ahead

 

The AFC North has three of the top four most challenging schedules.

Although the Cleveland Browns’ official schedule is not yet out, we already know who their opponents will be as the AFC North’s second-place team. In addition to the typical division rivals, the AFC North will compete against the NFC East and AFC West in 2019.

Thus, Cleveland will be among the select few locations to welcome both of the Harbaugh brothers.

Even though a lot will change in terms of team rosters before the 2024 NFL season officially begins, we may still assess schedule complexity by looking at this year’s results. The Browns’ schedule for the upcoming season is currently the most challenging in the NFL, but injuries, trades, and NFL free agency could all have a significant impact.

It makes logical that the top three teams are the four AFC North teams that qualified for the playoffs. The Baltimore Ravens, who finished with the best record in the NFL at 13-4, will have to play teams that have better records than the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns twice in 2023.

The opponents the Browns play will alter how we assess their schedule. As of a moment, 2024 appears to be a difficult year for those dressed in orange and brown.
