The K-pop star Choi San arrived in Italy this week to attend Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda show. As a member of the eight-member group Ateez, San is no stranger to the brand, having worn their designs previously. However, this marked his debut at a Dolce & Gabbana show—and at any fashion show, for that matter. His presence was impactful, especially with his bold reinterpretation of the men’s harness top.
During the event, San mingled with industry icons to the delight of his online fans. He crossed paths with Naomi Campbell, appearing in photos and a video alongside her. Campbell, styled by Ugo Mozie, donned a Grecian-inspired white gown. San also sat in the front row next to Alessandra Ambrosio, engaging in conversation before she followed him on Instagram. Ambrosio dazzled in a crystal-studded mini dress.
San attended the Alta Moda show wearing a chocolate-brown harness adorned with baroque motifs. The design featured silver chains connecting the front and back, worn shirtless underneath, much to the excitement of his fans. He paired the harness with wide-legged matching brown pants and patent leather derby shoes.
The South Korean performer is also expected at the Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria show later today. This debut may just be the beginning of his journey in the fashion world. Could a Met Gala appearance for Choi San and Ateez be on the horizon?
Jisoo of Blackpink also made waves in fashion recently, combining her love for Christian Dior with Hello Kitty. In a series of Instagram photos, she sported a gray outfit complemented by a logo-heavy Dior bag, accessorized with pink and blue Hello Kitty plushies. The whimsical touch added a splash of color to her schoolgirl skirt and cropped sweater.
Personalized bags are becoming a major trend among celebrities, with stars like Dua Lipa, Anne Hathaway, and Gigi Hadid adding unique charms to their luxury accessories. Jisoo’s bandmate Lisa has similarly embraced this trend, showcasing her Louis Vuitton bags adorned with fuzzy charms and studded details. The playful approach has even influenced brands like Prada and Miu Miu, which have highlighted bag charms on the runway.
Elsewhere in the fashion scene, Hailey Bieber showcased a fresh accessory trend in Aspen, Colorado. She paired her low-rise jeans and black crop top with a striped fur coat and a chocolate brown nappa leather “Aventure” bag from Miu Miu. Hailey’s casual yet stylish look introduced the ski-town crowd to the belted bag trend, proving that accessories can be both functional and fashionable.
