The Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs NFL Playoff game was Peacock-exclusive. On Saturday night, NBC revealed the viewership figures.

For the game, which was only available on NBC’s streaming service, the network announced some astounding stats. With over 23 million viewers, NBC claims that the wild-card round game was the largest streamed event of any kind ever in the US.

The network expressed satisfaction with the milestones in viewing, but fans weren’t quite as happy. If someone wanted to watch games but didn’t have a subscription to the platform, their only option was to purchase one.
