The Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) has unveiled the eight entries competing in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (DMGP) 2025, Denmark’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. The songs are now available for public listening.
Competing Entries:
1. Adel the Second – “The Unluckiest Boy Alive”
2. Andreas Kruse – “Hear My Prayer”
3. Hervé Toure – “Allez allez”
4. Maria Mathea – “Air”
5. Mariya – “I Belong to Me”
6. Max Ulver – “Supernova”
7. Sissal – “Hallucination”
8. Tim Schou – “Proud”
Notably, Tim Schou previously represented Denmark in Eurovision 2011 as a member of A Friend in London.
The DMGP 2025 final is scheduled for March 1, 2025, at the Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning. The event will be hosted by Sara Bro and Stéphanie Surrugue.
Listeners can access the competing songs through DR’s official platforms. Public voting is open from February 24 to 28, 2025, and will reopen during the live final. The winner will be determined by a combination of public votes and a jury panel.
Denmark aims to secure a spot in the Eurovision 2025 final in Basel, Switzerland, after not qualifying in recent years.
