Jayden Okunbor is ‘super excited’ to link up with Hull FC next season. The 26-year-old has signed an initial two-year deal with the club, with Hull Live exclusively reporting the move on Thursday.

Okunbor, a proud Canterbury Bulldogs junior, will bring some size and athleticism to Hull’s forward pack, as well as some important utility value. He has 43 games of NRL experience to date, not to mention another 55 in the New South Wales Cup.

Standing at 6 foot 5 and weighing 108kg, the player, who is of Nigerian and Zimbabwean descent on his father’s side, is aiming to be a big hit in Super League at a club that strongly resonates with how he likes to play.

“I’m super excited,” Okunbor said. “It’s always been a bit of a dream of mine to play in Super League, so to be coming to play for a great club like Hull FC is really exciting for me.
