Sportsbooks certainly did well in Week 2 of the NFL season as many underdogs covered the spread, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Minnesota Vikings, Las Vegas Raiders, and Arizona Cardinals all taking down some of the best teams in the league.

The loudest upset of the week was the New Orleans Saints and their 44-19 beatdown of the Dallas Cowboys, a beating so profound that it inspired one sports bettor to drop some serious cash on the Saints in Week 3.

Action Network shared that one bettor hit up Caesars and put $30,000 on the Saints at -2.5 to cover against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 3.

The line on this game moved a ton since it opened at Saints +3.5, but their whooping of the Cowboys combined with the Eagles dropping their Monday Night Football game at home against the Atlanta Falcons shifted the line five full points.

The Saints entered this season with many expecting little more than mediocrity, but this offense has been explosive and put up 91 points during two weeks when offense league-wide has been way down.

Derek Carr has just nine completions in two games while leading the league with five passing touchdowns, and if he keeps this up, he just might get Saints fans to stop booing him and buy into what this team is building.

This bettor would collect $25,000 if they win, and given the fact that the -2.5 is at -120 odds, that line could keep moving and might hit -3 by kickoff.

Las Vegas is clearly tired of getting burned on the Saints through two weeks and is starting to shift lines more in their favor.
