ESPN REPORT: So Sad, The Auburn Tigers Head Coach has been Issued A…

Bryan Harsin, the coach of Auburn football, told ESPN that he is dedicated to the university for the long run, despite university administrators closely examining his difficulties in the face of a coach and player exodus.

In a lengthy interview with ESPN late on Thursday night, Harsin, who is starting his second season, stated, “I’m the Auburn coach, and that’s how I’m functioning every day.” “I’ve told our players and everyone else that there isn’t a backup plan because I want this to succeed. I have no intention of leaving. The task was and is this. That is the reason I left the program I was in order to come here, turn it into a championship program, and leave it in a better state than when I found it.”

In order to resolve the uncertainty around Harsin’s future, Auburn athletic director Allen Greene met with seven or eight veteran players on Friday night, sources told ESPN. There’s no clarity, so his straightforward advice to the players, according to sources who spoke to ESPN, was to continue the course and control what you can. Following the open conversation, the players’ Friday practice concluded with an all-team run.

While on vacation abroad, Harsin stated he hasn’t discussed anything with Auburn administration that would indicate he won’t return for the 2022 campaign.
