Ex-RB for the Steelers, who plans to make a comeback, says he hopes to play for Team Steeler this season.
Le’Veon Bell, a running back, was among the best in the NFL for his position during his five seasons with the Steelers. Bell carried the ball 1,229 times for 5,336 yards and 35 touchdowns in 62 games played in the Steel City.
Bell never played for the Pittsburgh Steelers again after a falling out over a contract issue with the team back in 2018.
Le’Veon Bell, a former All-Pro runner, recently disclosed on his Snapchat account that he will be making an NFL comeback and would only consider playing for one team.
He seems to be anticipating being in the finest physical condition of his career and has stated that he will return if Pittsburgh calls. This season, he intends to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bell stated in his post,
“My training won’t begin until about March. To be honest with myself, I have to admit that I need to take a risk and put some footwork in. Can I sense it? Do I injure myself? Is it possible for me to return to playing outside? And, buddy, I’m telling you all right now that when I train there in March and decide in April to return to the NFL, that mark my words down — I will be better than I ever was. And I will only come back for that one team. You all know who it is. I don’t have to say any team. You all know who it is.”
Bell was at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex during the 2023 season and met his former coach, Mike Tomlin, a possible roadmap to his return.
