The odds of Joe Burrow and Zach Taylor winning a Super Bowl together are fading, according to reports.
The Bengals’ chances of winning a Super Bowl under Joe Burrow and Zac Taylor’s leadership are running out. In the history of the NFL, no HC-QB combination has won a Super Bowl after more than five years of marriage.
Cincinnati will therefore need to either win everything the next year or attempt an unprecedented feat in the history of the league.
Cincinnati is still stinging from its loss to Los Angeles in the previous Super Bowl season as it looks to win its first NFL championship. Cincinnati has often clung to once-great players and coaches who leave the Bengals much before their careers are up.
Will Taylor be the same? If you lose out on the grand prize once more the next year, the discussion about changing things will understandably pick up steam.
Burrow is too excellent to waste time, particularly considering that Taylor will not have won a league championship during his entire rookie contract window. Going future, financial hardship will only increase.
