GOOD NEWS: Celebrating the 513 area code Bengals style

Cincinnati Bengals fans have found a unique way to celebrate their hometown pride and love for their team: by

honoring the 513 area code in true Bengals style. On August 13th (5/13), the city of Cincinnati came alive with

festivities dedicated to this special date, aligning perfectly with the iconic area code.

The Bengals organization kicked off the celebrations with a series of events, including a fan rally at Paul Brown

Stadium, where players, coaches, and fans gathered to celebrate their shared pride in the team and the city. The rally

featured live music, food trucks, and autograph sessions with some of the team’s biggest stars. Fans dressed in their

best Bengals gear, from jerseys to face paint, turning the event into a sea of orange and black.

Local businesses joined in the fun by offering special promotions and deals to commemorate the day. From

discounted Bengals merchandise at local sports shops to themed cocktails at bars and restaurants, the entire city

embraced the 513 spirit. Even Cincinnati’s famous Skyline Chili got in on the action, offering a special “513 Chili Dog” for the day.

The Bengals also took the opportunity to give back to the community, partnering with local charities for a series of

fundraisers and volunteer events. Players and staff spent the day visiting hospitals, schools, and community centers, spreading cheer and demonstrating the team’s commitment to their fans and city.

The celebration culminated in a spectacular fireworks display over the Ohio River, set to the backdrop of the Bengals’

fight song. Fans gathered along the riverbanks to watch the show, ending the day with a bang and looking forward to

the upcoming football season.

their devoted fan base. It was a day filled with pride, community, and a shared love for the team that represents the heart of Cincinnati.
