Rutgers basketball: Future opponent loses star player to season-ending surgery

Michigan will be without its most talented forward when it faces Rutgers in Piscataway at the end of the month.

The Wolverines announced Wednesday morning that star forward Olivier Nkamhoua will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on his left wrist. The Tennessee transfer averaged 14.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game during his lone season at Michigan, starting the first 26 games of the year.
