It keeps making the awful look very, really ugly, just when you think you’ve seen it all..

Cam Jordan is eager to see significant changes at the Saints in an effort to alter the team’s culture.

Since the 2020 campaign, the New Orleans Saints have not made it to the postseason. After that season, New Orleans has gone 9-8, 7-10, and 9-8 in the three years that have passed, placing second and third in the NFC South twice each. It most definitely doesn’t measure up to the level the Saints have set for themselves in the last 15 years.

But New Orleans is not the same team as the one that was a consistent contender in the 2010s. Sean Payton is the Denver Broncos’ head coach, and Drew Brees has retired. There are still seasoned leaders in the Saints like Cam Jordan, who understands what it takes to have a winning team in New Orleans.

Jordan recently discussed what he believes the Saints need in an interview with the Around The NFL podcast. Jordan said that as an experienced player, he is aware that it is best to leave the off-field details to the front office; he plays. Jordan did concede, though, that “maybe a culture shock needs to happen.”

“I believe a core group of our players strives for positivism in anything they do, and this year, I really enjoyed our locker room. However, things will need to change if our locker room isn’t performing well. They will say something like, “Hey, Cam,” one day. It’s your time, buddy. And I’ll be thinking, “Hey, I hope the Saints win a lot more.” Whatever is necessary. I just want the Saints to win.”
