It keeps making the awful look very, really ugly, just when you think you’ve seen it all….

The Kings announced the starting lineup vs the Pistons while playing a repeat of Brandon Aiyuk’s incredible catch against the Lions.

It was helpful on Wednesday night that the San Francisco 49ers defeated the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game. The Sacramento Kings hosted the Detroit Pistons, and the squad had ample material to make fun of their opponents as they saw fit because of the dramatic comeback by the Niners to secure their spot in Super Bowl LVIII.

Kings Showed Aiyuk's Catch Against Lions Before Pistons Game

In particular, Sacramento’s video crew had the chance to remind the Detroit supporters of one particular play that turned the game around: Brandon Aiyuk’s huge reception in the third quarter on what should have been a Lions interception. Following this, the Niners scored once more, and they finished their comeback to secure a Sunday meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs in Las Vegas.

The Kings made a very inventive use of the Aiyuk, playing it again before the announcement of the Pistons starting lineup prior to tip-off.

My favorite part is how this is happening at the same time that the piano intro to “Lose Yourself” is playing, because that is a pretty nice thing to do when a team from Detroit is coming into your building. But unfortunately, that was the extent of being nice that Sacramento decided to do here.
