Saquon Barkley reveals the deal he would take to remain with the Giants.
He repeatedly talked about being with the Giants for life and whatnot, but that might no longer be the case.
The team may have mishandled his situation last offseason.
He felt low-balled and disrespected by the fact that he had to play under the franchise tag, all while Daniel Jones got that much money.
Barkley has now talked about how he realized it was all business, adding that he wouldn’t mind playing somewhere else now.
With that in mind, he was asked whether he would be okay with a three-year deal worth $23 million in guaranteed money to stay in New York, and he stated that he would gladly accept that (via Doug Rush).
“I wouldn’t be against that. That’s fair,” Barkley said.
