After inking his new deal, he commented to Canaries.co.uk, “I’ve been here for five years now; this is my sixth year. It makes me very thrilled to be extending that much further, and I’m grateful that the club feels the same way.

“Everyone says this is a family club, and it really is. I’m growing a small family here right now, and it works out great for us. Being at ease off the field benefits you on the field.

“I’ve had the privilege of representing this club with the armband while Grant is away. I’ve always made an effort to assume a great deal of responsibility.

“I’m hankering after further success at this club, as I’ve won the league and received a couple of promotions. I want to be here because I know that we share the same aspirations and goals.

“We’re all happy that Kenny has committed his long-term future to Norwich City,” Sporting Director Stuart Webber continued.

“During the most recent transfer window, Kenny attracted a lot of interest from other teams, but he maintained his composure and led the squad in Grant’s absence.

“As we strive to accomplish our objectives and have more memorable years together, we look forward to Kenny continuing to drive standards alongside our other senior players.”
