It may be the end of Joe Burrow’s season. Might he be done with the Bengals too?

Ja’Marr Chase: Had Joe Burrow not suffered a wrist injury, the Bengals would have been at the top of the AFC.

Cincinnati—With a 9-8 record this season, the Bengals missed out on the postseason for the first time in Ja’Marr Chase’s career.

The standout wide receiver thinks that if Joe Burrow hadn’t sustained a season-ending wrist injury against the Ravens in November, this season might have turned out differently.

“You don’t even need to finish asking that question, brother,” stated Chase in response to the issue of whether the Bengals would have won the AFC title. “I think that conversation right there might correct the market because we played the 49ers when he was fully healthy, and the result was 31–17.”

Burrow departed the game against the Ravens in Baltimore with a wrist injury that would ruin his season, but the Bengals were ahead 10-7. Although the outcome of the season remains uncertain, it is difficult to hold Chase accountable for believing Cincinnati would have been a factor in this year’s Super Bowl discussion.
