Mavs’ Jason Kidd hopes Josh Green, Dereck Lively II can return before regular season’s end

In regards to the injury status of two important players in the lineup, Mavericks coach Jason Kidd is holding out hope.

Kidd told reporters prior to the Atlanta Hawks game on Thursday that he was hoping Josh Green and Dereck Lively II would be able to make a comeback before the regular season ends. Green left the Mavericks on March 14 due to a right ankle strain he suffered during a 126-119 loss to the Thunder.
