After the All-Star Game, David Pastrnak of the Bruins sends a harsh message to the Maple Leafs.

David Pastrnak of the Boston Bruins was not satisfied with the Toronto Maple Leafs’ performance during NHL All-Star weekend, according to Dan Rosen of NHL.com:

“Good for them,” said Boston forward David Pastrnak in response to the four Maple Leafs winning the All-Star Game. They required some victories. They were successful in one. After that, he grinned.

The NHL All-Star Game featured a performance by none other than Maple Leafs star Auston Matthews, who won MVP honors. The rivalry between the Bruins and Maple Leafs is still present.

The league’s top goal scorer took center stage on Saturday during the NHL All-Star Game tournament. He recorded an MVP performance and helped Team Matthews eliminate Team McDavid in the 3-on-3 final, capping off a redesigned weekend of festivities at the league’s annual showcase.

When Pastrnak’s name was mentioned during player introductions, the mostly Maple Leafs fan base responded with a mixture of applause and jeers. The top forward for the Boston Bostonians welcomed them with a happy grin and a proud kiss on the “Spoked B” emblem on his jersey. In the process, he even glared down William Nylander, a Toronto star.

Pastrnak enjoyed the chance to poke fun at the historic playoff series between the Bruins and Maple Leafs throughout the years.

Regarding the competition itself, Pastrnak’s events yielded a range of outcomes. The Bruins forward whiffed on an empty netter during the stick-handling task, which cost him a chance at the $1 million grand prize. He also came dangerously close to winning the one-timer challenge.

So far this season, Pastrnak and the Bruins are having a terrific time. They return to action on Tuesday when they play the Flames.
