The O’Jays are among the most seasoned bands currently performing, having played for fifty years. Together with Eric Grant, two members of the trio who were part of the original lineup are currently touring the Motown hits that made them so famous and well-known in the early years.
They have a lot of charisma when they perform live and instantly connect with the crowd. Since their career has been exciting and varied and has taken them all over the world, it goes without saying that the stories are almost as fascinating as the songs. The audience applauds warmly as the veterans play this timeless song as the lush supporting brass band opens “Back Stabbers.”
The trio seemed to be content with the warm reaction they received, and at the end of the legendary song “Love Train,” both the singer and the audience are pleading for the positive energy to persist.
Singing and dancing with the O’Jays was so much fun.
They made me cry, and I had a great time traveling down memory lane. I appreciate the memories, O’Jays! The Schermerhorn was in full swing!
As good as it has always been. I am so fortunate to have seen them four times in my life.
They played all of my favorite songs, including Money Money Money, Love Train, and She Used to Be My Girl.
They still put on a show just like they used to, despite their advanced age.
The O’Jays have three planned gigs and are currently on a tour through one nation. The date of their upcoming tour is in Beverly Hills’ Saban Theatre
