Spanish actress Penélope Cruz and American actor Johnny Depp will collaborate once again in Day Drinker, an action thriller directed by Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man), as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. It seems that the story follows two individuals who become connected “in unexpected ways”: one works at the bar of a cruise ship and the other drinks during the day. The project was announced in March, but at that time, actress Sydney Sweeney was set to star instead of the one from Alcobendas.

Cruz and Depp, who maintain a close friendship, have already shared the screen in Blow (2001), Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (2011), and Murder on the Orient Express (2017).
