Ben Trbojevic signs a three-year contract with the Sea Eagles.
Ben Trbojevic, a dedicated back-row player for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, has had his contract extended for a another three years.
The 22-year-old is now out to the conclusion of the 2027 season by the Sea Eagles, who cut him off from his contract this year.
After participating in the Sea Eagles Pathways Program, Trbojevic made his NRL debut against the Newcastle Knights in 2021 and has since played 26 games for Manly.
Trbojevic, a kid from the Mona Vale Raiders Club who is pleased to be from the area, expressed his determination to build on a strong NRL debut.
Trbojevic stated, “I just want to put my best foot forward and be in that 17 every week.”
“My intention is to begin, obviously. I thought I made significant progress toward being an edge back-rower last year.
“I enjoy playing in the back row a lot. You simply never leave the game. It’s a really significant role on the squad. All I want to do for Manly is try my hardest every week.
With 12 appearances in the NRL last year, Trbojevic enjoyed his greatest season ever, so Sea Eagles coach Anthony Seibold was happy to give him a prize.
“Ben has advanced more already in this preseason. As it is, he is advocating for a starting position, according to Seibold.
In addition to recognizing Ben’s growth, we also hope to honor his potential for the following three years.
“It goes without saying that the three Trbojevic brothers’ unique bond and unity as local juniors are a great asset to the team.
“It seems like Ben has his best football ahead of him.” Ben’s contract extension of three more years means that players like him, Tolu Koula, Haumole Olakauátu, Taniela Paseka, Josh Schuster, Jake and Tom Trbojevic, are all here for the foreseeable future.
“We believe that the squad is in good shape.”
