Report:The 2024 schedule for the UNC basketball program has been…

Caleb Wilson, a junior forward at Holy Innocents Episcopal School (Ga.), has not yet disclosed the candidates in his recruitment. However, there’s no doubt the UNC basketball program would have made it through if he had. Ultimately, in less than two weeks, Wilson will make his official campus visit with the Tar Heels, which will take place during UNC’s home game versus historically significant Duke on February 3 in the Smith Center. Originally scheduled to visit the school in November, the explosive five-star recruit weighing 205 pounds and standing six feet ten inches tall decided to postpone the trip.

Wilson has only made three official visits thus far, to Auburn, Kentucky, and Stanford, according to Joe Tipton of On3. All of those happened in 2023. As a result, head coach Hubert Davis and his team should be happy with their position in the race given that UNC will be the first to host him this year….

According to Tipton, Wilson—who currently sits at No. 4 in the 247Sports 2025 Composite—told Davis that he is only one of seven head coaches who had seen him so far this season. He also listed Bruce Pearl of Auburn, Damon Stoudamire of Georgia Tech, John Calipari of Kentucky, Dennis Gates of Missouri, Jerod Haase of Stanford, and Rick Barnes of Tennessee.

Considering Caleb Wilson has expressed no rush in picking a winner, it’s no surprise the 247Sports Crystal Ball hasn’t pegged a frontrunner for his services. He is among eight other five-star recruits, all ranking inside the top 15, who are currently on the notably ambitious 2025 UNC basketball offer sheet.
