Adams Announces the Passing of Mrs. Tina Pristell Tolbert Turner
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Tina Pristell Tolbert Turner, who departed from this life on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the age of 60. Mrs. Turner passed away at Candler Hospital after a prolonged illness.
Born on May 5, 1964, in Savannah, Georgia, Mrs. Turner was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life was marked by her dedication to her family and her unwavering commitment to her community.
Mrs. Turner was well-known for her warm spirit and generous heart. She spent many years working as a nurse, providing compassionate care to countless patients. Her colleagues remember her as a diligent and empathetic professional who always went above and beyond to ensure the well-being of those in her care.
Beyond her professional life, Mrs. Turner was an active member of her church and various local charitable organizations. She devoted much of her time to volunteer work, always striving to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
She is survived by her loving husband, John Turner; their two children, Michael Turner and Samantha Turner-Wilson; and three cherished grandchildren. Her family, friends, and all who knew her will deeply miss her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Savannah. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Mrs. Turner’s life and legacy.
Mrs. Tina Pristell Tolbert Turner’s life was one of love, service, and dedication. Her memory will continue to inspire and her presence will be profoundly missed.
