The Washington Commanders are making moves and noise in their coaching search

Signing Commanders quarterback Jacoby Brissett Would Be of “Real Interest” to the Patriots.

Washington Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen, defensive end Chase Young and wide receiver Terry McLaurin in the team's new uniforms.

Ron Rivera, the former coach of the Washington Commanders, might soon be looking for work.

Rivera is interviewing with the Philadelphia Eagles to be their defensive coordinator, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.

Sean Desai was sacked by the Eagles on Sunday, creating a vacancy. If Rivera signs with the Eagles, he will be returning to Philadelphia. From 1999 until 2003, Rivera served as the team’s linebackers coach.

This offseason, quarterback Jacoby Brissett of the Washington Commanders is a free agent, and it’s possible that a former team will try to get him to leave the DMV.

The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin reports that the New England Patriots are considering signing Brissett.

Late in the season, Brissett shown some glimpses for the Commanders; as a result, he may now consider going back to the Patriots, where he started his career.

Mike Macdonald, the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, watched his team lose 17-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game on Sunday. As a result, the Washington Commanders may now contact him for a second interview.

Since there are now two open coaching positions in the NFL, Macdonald may have a strong chance of landing the Washington position. He electronically met with the Commanders earlier this month, but he can now interview in person.

The Washington Commanders coaching search is winding down, and it appears Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson is a top candidate. However, there’s one person in particular who doesn’t one him to leave … possibly the Lions’ most famous fan, Eminem.

Eminem was interviewed by ePro Team, where he warned Johnson not to leave the Lions, or else there would be consequences.

“Ben Johnson, if you leave us, diss record is coming,” Eminem joked.

Johnson is expected to interview with the Commanders on Tuesday.
