Transfer portal tracker for UNC basketball: Who is coming to, going out of, Tar Heels?

In the NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 against Alabama, UNC basketball’s season came to an end.

With a 29-8 record at the end of the season, the Tar Heels took home the ACC regular-season title. UNC received a No. 1 seed this season after failing to qualify for the NCAA Tournament in 2023.

Hubert Davis, a third-year coach, signed five players, including Cormac Ryan and Harrison Ingram, who were starters, through the transfer portal. Paxson Wojcik, Ryan, and Armando Bacot have used up all of their eligibility, although ACC Player of the Year RJ Davis is eligible to play one more year if he so wants.

Here’s a running list of who’s coming and going for UNC ahead of the 2024-25 season. Players can enter the transfer portal through May 1. A decision to join a new school can occur after that date.
