Diligent Deshaun Watson, an NFL player, spent about $7.5 million on an English-style mansion in the affluent Cleveland neighbourhood of Hunting Valley.
The announcement of his property acquisition coincides with Mr Watson’s, 27, first practice return with the Cleveland Browns since August, when he was suspended for 11 games due to allegations of sexual misconduct made by several women during massage therapy sessions.

Built in 2018 and remodelled in 2024, the majestic seven-bedroom spread is described as “the most prestigious and remarkable property in the region” in the Keller Williams Greater Metropolitan listing with David Ayers of the Young Team. Regarding the deal, he declined to comment.

The manor’s more than 19,000 square feet are filled with luxurious features. Gourmet kitchen, over 4,000-square-foot exercise facility, cigar and tasting room, office, and media area are all included.

Downstairs, a lower club level features a 14-seat theatre, a gaming area, a lounge and a complete bar. The main bedroom suite has a shower, a dressing room and an office.

With 5.79 acres, there is plenty room for outdoor features such as a swimming pool, tennis and volleyball courts, ponds that are filled, patios, and a separate carriage house.

Unable to be reached for comment, Mr. Watson allegedly came to an agreement with the NFL in which he agreed to pay a $6 million fine, sit out the first 11 games of the 2023 season, and receive therapy. Property records state that he purchased the property through Roadrunner Properties Ohio, a limited liability organisation.

The deal was initially reported by Crain’s Cleveland.
