Manager AJ Hinch of the Detroit Tigers says he is taking inspiration from the Detroit Lions’ success this season and their head coach Dan Campbell as the team prepares for the 2024 campaign.
Hinch stated this week on The Show podcast, “I love what the Lions have done, that organization, for the city.” “Just like they helped us throughout the final stretch when we guided Miguel Cabrera into retirement, the fans came out and supported this team. In Detroit, the fans are wonderful. Players, managers, coaches, and other visitors to Detroit will tell you that it’s a fantastic sports town with amazing support for the local clubs.”
Hinch declared that he had “watched the Lions all year” and expressed his admiration for Dan’s “energy, messaging, and tenacity.”
After falling to the San Francisco 49ers 34-31 last Sunday, the Lions progressed to the NFC Championship Game.
In terms of the Tigers, they seem to have significantly improved as 2024 approaches. They added veterans Mark Canha, Jack Flaherty, and Kenta Maeda to the team after finishing second in the American League Central the previous season.
Additionally, the trio of Matt Manning, Casey Mize, and Tarik Skubal seems healthy, and Colt Keith, a young second baseman, is among baseball’s best prospects. He recently agreed to a six-year contract extension and seems prepared to start contributing in 2024.
