NRL contract updates: In the midst of the November open market period, official signings and extensions

With more than 100 players now available to negotiate and sign with rival teams starting on November 1st, the NRL contract season is officially underway.

After Ezra Mam re-signed with Brisbane and Jarome Luai eventually disclosed his next move, Joey Manu currently leads the list of gifted free agents.

Veteran Zane Tetevano has signed a one-year contract with Canterbury, the team announced.

Dogs executive Phil Gould stated, “Zane is a highly respected senior player who will provide leadership and work ethic to our group.”

The forward joined the Sydney Roosters in 2011 and went on to win a premiership in 2018. He made his NRL debut in 2011.

Before receiving a release to join Leeds in the Super League, where he had been practicing before the Dogs called, the 33-year-old last made an appearance in the NRL for Penrith.
